Xintao Niu, Ph.D., Assistant Professor at the School of Intelligent Software and Engineering, Nanjing University. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Technology from the Department of Computer Science at Nanjing University in 2019 and was awarded the Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Award by the Jiangsu Computer Society. In the same year, he joined the Department of Computer Science as an Assistant Researcher, and in 2023, he became an Assistant Professor at the School of Intelligent Software and Engineering.
His main research interests include software testing and fault localization, with a particular focus on ensuring the reliability and security of foundational software such as communication system architectures, compilers, and operating systems. He has published over ten papers in top-tier software engineering journals and conferences, including TSE, TOSEM, ICSE, ASE, Journal of Computer Research and Development, and Journal of Software. He has led projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (Youth Program) and the Jiangsu Provincial Natural Science Foundation (General Program). His research has been recognized with the First Prize of the Science and Technology Award from the Jiangsu Computer Society and has been successfully applied in enterprises such as Xiamen Airlines and Huawei.
