Ph.D., Associate Professor, Doctoral Supervisor
Yangming Zhao is a (pre-tenured) associate professor and Ph.D. advisor with school of intelligent software and engineering in Nanjing University. He obtained the Ph.D. degree from University of Electronic Science and Technology of China in 2015. Before he joined Nanjing University, he was a research professor with University of Science and Technology of China, where he was selected into the“100 Talents Program” of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and also selected into the Oversea Talent Recruitment Programs of Anhui Province (Innovation Program). Before that, he worked as a research scientist at University at Buffalo for 5 years and at the Nokia Shanghai Bell Co.. for 8 months. He is now working on quantum information technologies and network communication technologies. He is the principal investigator for several research projects including the Natural Science Foundation of China. He has published more than 80 papers in top venues, such as TON, TPDS, TC, TMC, INFOCOM, and NSDI.
